House of Ruth Maryland Statement on the Tragic Loss of Judge Andrew Wilkinson

House of Ruth Maryland is deeply saddened by the news of the murder of Washington County Circuit Court Judge Andrew Wilkinson.  This tragedy underscores the vital need to keep firearms out of the hands of perpetrators of domestic violence as a means of protecting victims of abuse, their families, and others, including law enforcement officers and judges.  Domestic violence is not a problem that exists only behind closed doors; it is a public health issue that we all must come together to address.  House of Ruth Maryland grieves with the family and friends of Judge Wilkinson and vows to continue the fight to ensure that all Marylanders are safe from the effects of intimate partner violence.
